I am Kamil Trzebiatowski (my alias is Wandering Cloud) and I grew up in Gdansk, Poland. I moved to live in the United Kingdom in my late twenties, and have more recently made the beautiful North Yorkshire in England my home. I worked as a secondary school teacher for many years, but it was in the last couple of years that I combined my passion for the wild, unspoilt, natural world of mountains, moors and forests with film-making. At heart, I am an artist, a poet, a dreamer, a non-conformist, seeking for ways to express what cannot be expressed through the human language – that which is spiritual and immaterial and resides in our hearts and souls. I see the world in front of me as all interconnected, where both objects and natural phenomena blend, much like in an Impressionistic painting. I find our modern world too mechanistic, too artificial, and seek solace and inspiration in the natural world, the only world that actually exists.
I make short and longer films for my YouTube channel, Wandering Cloud: Hiking for Beauty, where I focus on the beauty of Nature and human connection to Her, documenting some of my shorter and longer solitary hikes in Great Britain, including some major wild-camping multi-day treks. I always hear the music of Nature in my heart when atop of a mountain or on a fell; therefore, music is a very important aspect of my films and my channel. I do not like calling himself a ‘Content Creator’ and think of myself as a ‘Soul Seeker’, and unashamedly speak (not necessarily through human language) openly of what moves my heart.
Below, embedded, is the short trailer for my YouTube channel.
